The Client Brief
We were asked to fell two pine trees for a customer located in Littlehempston in Totnes as they had been damaged by a storm and the tree roots were causing issues with the adjacent road.
The Challenges
We faced some access challenges on this project as the site was on a busy lane adjacent to the trees, there was a telephone line running under canopy of the trees, and also two static caravans beneath trees with the neighbours house on the other side of the road.
What we did
We used specialist equipment including a cherry picker and we also brought in a large crane to assist with the works meaning we could lift the tree out in large pieces whilst keeping the road open for access.
The Outcome
Our client was very happy with the end result and that they could rest assured that the tree root system would not do any further damage to the road.
